"The practice of mindfulness is necessary to the development of leaders who seek to be resilient, creative, focused and able to bring balanced energy and effective presence to their work. When a facilitator or coach offers a mindfulness practice and conducts their own work with awareness of the many moments of transition–the crescendos and decrescendos of a group’s energy and attention–they are doing far more than creating a quiet moment or a productive day. They are teaching a strategy for survival and success in the modern workplace."
